2. Data we collect
- Account data, such as email address, name if provided, and sign-in method.
- Resume data, including uploaded files, work history, skills, education, projects, and related details.
- Job description data that you paste or link for match analysis and tailoring.
- Usage data, such as analyses, generated versions, selected edits, exports, and account settings.
- Technical data, such as browser, device, IP address, referrer, cookies, and analytics events.
3. How we use data
- To operate accounts and product features.
- To create, store, review, improve, and tailor resumes.
- To compare resumes with job descriptions supplied by the user.
- To process payments for paid features.
- To improve the service, troubleshoot issues, and understand product usage.
- To comply with legal obligations and protect the service.
4. AI processing and ChatGPT
cvredo.me does not send your personal contact details to the consumer ChatGPT product. AI requests are handled from our backend through configured API providers, and the app removes or minimizes direct identifiers such as email, phone, personal links, and exact contact lines before resume text is sent for AI analysis whenever possible. Your resume data is used to provide the feature you requested, not to create public profiles or a job catalog.
When an external AI API is configured, the provider may process the sanitized request to return a result. cvredo.me does not allow AI suggestions to invent companies, dates, metrics, or experience that you did not provide.
5. Sharing
We do not sell personal data. Limited access may be provided to infrastructure, analytics, email, payment, and AI service providers when needed to operate the selected features. Where possible, direct contact details are removed or replaced before resume text is sent for AI processing.

7. Retention and deletion
We keep data while your account is active or as needed to provide the service. You can delete your account from account settings or contact support@cvredo.me.
8. Your rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, export, or restrict processing of your personal data. Contact us to exercise those rights.
9. Resumes and job descriptions
Users provide resumes and job descriptions themselves. cvredo.me uses them only for the requested features, does not create a public job catalog, and does not publish user resumes without a separate user action.
